Drought Update

The Commonwealth of Massachusetts has not declared the Drought of 2022 to be over and the northeast region remains in a significant drought status as of October 7, 2022. The Board of Water Commissioners discussed the current drought status at its October 12, 2002 Meeting. Residents that need to make lawn repairs from summer damages are permitted to do so with hand held hoses and other manual methods. The use of full lawn irrigation systems is permitted but is not recommended at this time.
